The way up to the summit is hard.

I took this photo in 2008, it was one of my first shooting up in the high mountains. The net you see on the side is a bit misleading. It was a very stormy night and I was very impressed by the speed of the athletes. I thought to be fit but doing 2'000 meter of altitude and looking fresh like this guy at minus 20 degrees with lot's of wind. WOW. Two days later, this photo was published on the cover of one of the leading Swiss Newspaper Neue Zürcher Zeitung. The client was so happy with the cover that he confirmed the shooting on the phone same day for the next event. Since then I'm training hard to be able to keep up with this guys up on the mountains.
